Wondering what you chaps might think of this... I'm strangely attracted to it, despite it being a Cat D, having dodgy bonnet vents, and the seller claiming that 'A different Cam would add another 50BHP with no trouble'

Some interesting mods going on too...

Price about right for Cat D?
Would have to lose the headlights and steering wheel, afraid the bonnet would have to go too..

Apart from that, its a Griff - 'nuff said

Buy now for 13.5k looks like a bargain to me with all those mods. Lloyds ECU, new cam, ACT carbon plenum, Nitrons.

The vents or lights conversions are not to my personal taste but easy to get a new bonnet. The cat D would not bother me in the slightest on one of these cars.

You can pay 25K for a none CAT Griff today and by tomorrow evening it could be damaged, and by next week it could be back on the road but a CAT D Griff.

It's knowing what was damaged and how it was repaired that is important.

I got my Griff with front wing damage and have had the work done.

Agree about the main beam lights and bonnet vents, if you are doing bonnet vents, then the Chim style is the only way IMO. But I like the twin lights in the pod.

Looks like they have the original bonnet too, or this pic was taken before it was modified.

If the chassis is OK I think it is a good price. I suspect the interior will be rather tired but the Cat D wouldn't bother me on a Griffith.

Someone has spent a fair deal of money on this looking at the work done to the engine, brakes, suspension, wheels etc.

Just needs the lights, bonnet, steering wheel rectifying & would be a cracking Griffith. In fact, I'd even leave the rear lights alone.
