What they don't know is that we have only one fighter, but send it up each day with different squadron markings...

ssshhh smash

The subs are better. They leave fazlane on a 'mission' and are never seen again for months. They could be anywhere.

Ooh, virtual subs. Clever!

'How many subs you got then?'
'25'
'Prove it'
'No, you prove it'.

nono

We can't even afford the repaint, it's the same aircraft with different squadron markings on each side.

Sneaky yes
So we send up a couple of plane(s)
The crew in the bear see a plane come along one side, it peels off and a plane with different markings appears on the other side.
Would the pilot have to add a moustache too?

Easy, pilot just has half a moustache. However he would not be able to look directly at the bear. Give the game away, what!

Guys you need to be careful giving away state secrets online. It could get you a long spell in jail.

Really impressed it can keep flying with such slowly rotating props, it must have great fuel economy and range too......

They're playing the same game wink
You think it's 50's technology until you spot something like an ion drive unit (IDU) below the tail fin

Teknopug can explain it better than me >>>>

It's not flying as such, more hovering. The contra rotating props allow it to enter a state of neutral velocity. Think of it like an aircraft on a treadmill yes
