Bank lending to buy a commercial property lease

Hi all,

Anyone know if it's possible to secure bank lending to acquire/ pay premium for an assignment of an existing lease on a commercial property?

You can borrow to buy a lease, we did it last year. I am not sure if it was a loan against the lease as such or just a loan to the business in general.
