Lower Dash Lights

Neither the hazard light switch nor the fog light switch are illuminated on my 98 chim although the main light switch is. Is this normal?

That's correct. The non illuminated items illuminate when in use!

Thanks for that ;-) A bit catch 22 as if you can't see 'em how do you turn 'em on?

Anyway now I know they are supposed to be like that I can stop trying to fix and figure out how to illuminate them.

Especially if you've come across a hazard in the fog!

Similar question regarding the Kenwood(?) radio/cassette head unit in my car. The unit is only illuminated when its on. So its a bu**er to find the right button in the dark. Is this correct?
