I had these done a couple of years ago. They do work to a fashion, but you still have to open your boot lid slowly, or the water will just bypass the strips.
My car was going in to the dealer for something else, so I asked for these to be put on at the same time.
I fitted these a few days ago. Can't believe the car's been around for 8 years without them!!
Stuck mine pretty much where the picture above has them. You can kind of tell where the right place is because too far forward and the sidewall is no longer totally flat.
