what is verto clutch and flywheel?

Imma buy a performance flywheel and clutch for a 1380, but there are verto and pre verto, what does this mean!?

Left is verto, right is pre-verto.

cheers, im putting a 1380 in a 1990 998 so witch one will i need? is the pree verto on the older ones?

If you're using the original gearbox it will be a verto casing, the earlier type was phased out well before 1990.
