But would be a shame for those of us who use Vettes as daily drivers if it went mid-engined as it'd almost certainly be less practical. How many mid-engined cars can fit several rolls of roofing felt in the boot (as my C6 convertible did yesterday)?

They'll always be a front engined vette IMO. I suspect we will see a new ZR1 or something as a completely different mid engined car.

If you look at the comments on the page, some people are saying that's not the mule for a C8 but old photos for a VXR.....any credence?
