I very seldom post, and this may post twice, don't know why.
A bloke knocks at my front door, while i was at work, (only lived here two and a half years) and says to my wife, ...
Ive seen your Aston Martin (V8V) in the Garage and I'm just about to buy one. I think my insurance quote is a bit high,
can you give your husband my card and get him to ring me about Insurance.
The name on the card seemed familiar so i phoned him, it was someone i used to work with 28 years ago.
Turns out that he lives local and had just taken delivery of a V12VS and invited me round to have a look.
Lets go for a drive he said, so i stand by the passenger door, no you drive and throws me the Glass starter.
Well i know the rules! don't dive one because you'll want one.
After an hours drive with him encouraging me to use the go pedal (in sports mode) i can only say-
"It's unbelievable!.. the difference that seventh gear makes."
No!... i'm lying, the whole car is amazing.. a totally different machine. I wan't one.
Trouble is with 5 Kids, 8 Grandchildren and the fact that i've just purchased a new Jag XF for the other half, i can't afford
one. .....YET.
