Just took the plunge!!!

And bought myself a Boxster S
I can't tell you how chuffed I am with this one, it's a fantastic motor and now I'm wondering why it took me so long to go and drive one!!! It's faster, cheaper to own and much much better to drive then the S2000 I did own.
It's a tidy '03 in seal grey with some decent toys fitted (Bose/SatNav/Tracker/PSM etc). And hopefully it will be the car I want for year round driving....
Happy driving

Thanks fellas, roll on next Saturday
The noise from the S is what sucked me in, fantastic... Oh that and being able to pull away in third and then hold it well into the 'bye licence' zone... After years in Vtecs it's quite a revelation
I'll post my thoughts after a couple of weeks driving..
Anyone in the UK Porsche Club?

LOL, I'm not bothered about things like that matey... I've an '03 with BIG spec for 35.5K then add Tracker and Gap......
If you don't mind me asking, what you pay for yours?

Porsche Club Great Britain its called and yes it is big and professional. I'm a member - as are quite a few Porsche PHers.
I'm not bothered about the meets they do - I go along to the odd PH meet for that.
But I *really* like their Track Days and do as many of those as I can.
Porsche club gb is a good laugh although theres a few stuffy people there as well as those just out for a good social time.Good for networking too plus the obvious discounts you get for being a club member. I suggest you check out a local meeting and go see.
I used to be an organiser for my region and we had a great time although we did gear it towards the more active/fun people,(basically we went away for weekends and had a few sherberts, race meets, clubbing etc)
My advice would be go see for yourself.....Mark
