Fulfilled a dream and bought a 2000 996 C2 Tip. 29k miles.

Picking it up from OPC at 10am Saturday!

you will love it, had mine 2 years and gets better every time i drive. only down side is having to carry 5 tents down to le mans 'cause you've got fold down back seets and your ferrari driving chums only have room for a toothbrush! will be waiting for an update on monday (if you've stopped driving long enough to write one).

How did you feel when you arrived at the dealer to pick it up, and you set eyes on it? I felt like crying, collapsing, shouting for joy, and jigging all at once!

I remember when I was due to collect my 996, all that ran through my head prior to collecting for 2 days and 2 nights was, “Oh my god I'm getting a 911, Oh my god I'm getting a 911,". A grin inducing mantra.
