We have a dozen customers who we work with frequently and as such some of us have very good rapport.

One of my colleagues has politely informed said customers that she is resigning but has since been rebuked by management because of it.

Is this 'nornal'? Said emails were polite and innocuous. We've since all been told not to repeat this...
