Retrofit RNS 315 into 59 Reg Passat

Hi All,

I have just bought a 59 reg Passat 170 Highline.

It has the new style steering wheel and clocks but no sat-nav.

Can someone please advise me if I can fit the RNS 315 system into my car and if so will the MFD show sat-nav directions and phone info etc.

Any help and advice on what I need is appreciated.

Yeah it should be fine, assuming by newer style clocks you mean the white backlit dials and black screen (as opposed to red and blue).

You'll need a GPS antenna and access to VCDS to code the RNS 315 into the car which is what makes the instructions come up on the MFD.
