Dear Tech Support

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed
itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 etc..

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Thanks,
A Troubled User.

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!!

It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background
application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but

it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5 . Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0

! WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,
Tech Support

Years ago I got sent this......

Can You Help....?

A friend is having trouble with his system. Last year he upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from Drinking Mates 4.2 which he'd used for years without trouble. However, aparently there are conflicts between these two
systems, and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. But to make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as Lads Night Out
3.1, Golf 2 and Playboy 6.0. Successive versions of Girlfriend proved no better, Girlfriend 3.0 has many bugs and left a virus in his system, forcing him to shut down completely for several weeks.

Eventually he tried installing Girlfriend 2.1 as well as Girlfriend 1.0 only to discover that when these two systems detected each other they caused severe damage to all his hardware. Sensing a way out he upgraded
to Fiancee 1.0 only to discover to his dismay that this system requires rapid upgrading to Wife 1.0. However, whilst Wife 1.0 uses up all resources, it does come bundled with FreeSexPlus and Cleanhouse 2000.

But imagine my friends disappointment on discovering Wife 1.0 can be unstable and costly to maintain, plus any mistakes he makes are automatically stored in the Wife 1.0 directory and cannot be deleted - resurfacing many months later. Wife 1.0 also has an InterDiary
Explorer and E-Mail Porn filter. Wife 1.0 also automatically runs PhotoSTROP and WINGEzip, and no option on the help menu seems to work, so he has to
try and guess the problem for himself. The system footprint needs updating regularly with ShoeShop Browser Pro, and HairStyle Express needs to be
reinstalled every week. It has also refused some of the new games he wanted to try stating that they are an illegal operation. When Wife 1.0 attaches itself to Lotus Car 1.0 it often crashes or runs the system dry.
Wife 1.0 also has a rather annoying pop-up window called Mother-In-Law, which can't be turned off.

Recently he has been tempted to try the Mistress 2001 add-on, but there could be problems. If Wife 1.0 detects Mistress 2001, it will delete all MS Money files before completely un-installing itself.

Does this sound like a common problem?

Yup, I see the problem.
It all occured when he ran Night Out With Lads 7.0. Unfortunately, he forgot to install the antivirus package Durex-2000. What occured was an upgrade from Night-Stand 1.0 to MS pregnancy 2.0. It doesn't take long to do, all that happened was he e-mailed Jack.Daniels@TheBar.com too early in the night. When he got his reply, he needed to confirm there was no problems with his floppy disk, which is when Night-Stand 1.0 came in to play. His graphics card was a little shakey from losing all his cache via the e-mail, and so Night-Stand 1.0 really wasn't the best option he could go for. There were far better options out there, but he rushed into it and chose the inferior option. Anyhow, when he double clicked his mouse, having not run the virus package Durex-2000, he emptied his recycle bin, which had been storing up rubbish for quite a while, while the floppy was still in the drive.
It was from this point forward that his problems occured. If only he'd have used the virus package, or indeed never run Night Out With Lads 7.0, then he'd still be playing Escort Cosworth 1993, and frequently be able to run it in conjunction with Random-Woman 2001.
But hey, computers are wonderful things !!!
