TVR History/Central TVR

I am trying to complete the history of my 1992 Griff. I have all the previous owners details from the DVLA and have managed to contact a few of them. However, there is one person I cant trace. While they owned the car between 1996 and 2000 it was serviced at Team Central. I'm trying to get hold of copies of the servicing invoices or (any other work carried out on the car) in this period.

Now as I understand it Team Central became Team Proactive who then went into liquidation. Is this right? Or did they change company name again? Do you think there is any chance of finding someone who may still hold Team Centrals past records or would they have all been destroyed since liquidation? I understand it that Central TVR was formed by a previous employee of Team Proactive and it isnt the same company, so they probably wouldnt have any of the historical records.

If anyone can offer information to help me complete the car's history I'd be very grateful.

Team Central still exsist. Sort of.....

TC went bust, TProA went bust, and now the same people trade as Central TVR....

It might be worth giving Mike or Kevin a call at Horizon Motorsport (also in Birmingham) as they worked at Team Central around the period you mention - and they may be a little more erm.... forthcoming than the boss of TC. If you know what I mean...

lol yeah Team Central seemed to replicate TVR's own history of boom - bust - boom - bust but over a much shorter time span!

A lot of people got very burnt when Team Central went bust and I'm sure those memories are long and clear ...

Indeed, even Clive is getting (sun)burnt in Spain, so I'm told.
