Brighton to London Hog

I have an interview in The City tomorrow, at 10.30. My question is:

To drive, or not to drive?

It'd be more fun and cheaper to drive (peak travelcard is £36!), but I'm unsure about how long it'll take/the best route to drive.....

Well, the A23 is a nightmare!

I thought it might be! I know it's fine up to the M25, but I normally join the M25 and have no experience of the A23 within it.

Drive to gatwick and take the Gatwick Express straight into Victoria, followed by the tube

Hmmm.....only saves me about 20 mins overall. Bah! Think I'll lump it with BR from brighton.
