A question for McDonalds regulars.
Discussion
Very trivial this is, so apologies to Ted for the waste of bandwidth.
I visit McDonalds maybe once or twice a week, sometimes thrice. I am a creature of habit and always have the same.
Two cheeseburgers, medium fries, orange juice.
Question: How much does that cost?
Answer: No
at McDonalds knows, not their tellers, not the managers, not their customer services. It varies from day to day, site to site, and maybe even depending on how I am dressed. Its like trying to buy a train ticket.
£3.69p This is the individual price for each item, and is what some McDonalds outlets charge me.
£3.46p This is another price that I am charged sometimes, on a regular basis.
£3.29p This is the meal deal price, sometimes the teller puts it through as a meal deal.
£3.19p This is also a meal deal price, but some outlets have a different franchise agreement and are 10p cheaper than others.
£3.17p This is what I was charged today with a voucher for two cheeseburgers for the price of one.
So, I have the same thing every time and it can cost me between £3.19p and £3.69p. No one can tell me why.
Sorry to have taken up your time folks.

It has to be two double cheese burgers for a mere 9p more than a bigmac for me. Recently have been going as many as 4 times a week as it is near to uni, relatively hassle free and fills me up. Exactly the reasons why fast food is so popular!
Bernie try Franky & Tony's sandwich bar, it's on the first side street off Northumberland Street with all the travel agents on (one back from Pacific Bar street). Blumin lovely sarnies for about £2.
As for the price variance - VAT is added for eating in, not for eating out. We learnt that trick sometime ago, buy "take away" and eat in anyway! Still, the last McDonalds I had was something like a year ago now.
