Does anyone else find that if you split up with someone, you constantly compare girls you meet to your ex?

Does anyone else find that its really hard to 'get interested' in new girls.

Or is it just me?

Yeah you do compare, but that feelling will go, its a good way of making sure you dont go for someone for the sake of it, its good to have standards.

Or, in a similar vein, does anyone find themselves thinking 'she looks just like xyz' when being served in shops/at pubs/watching TV/walking down the street, and find yourself trying to get a better look to prove yourself wrong (and you will be - some exes are just very difficult to get out of your head)

Did'nt meet anyone who took my fancy, but it was a real laugh!

None of them even came close to my ex. They were all just too ordinary!

Blimey, if mrs Grouch was anything like my ex I would be looking at being single again that's for sure.

My ex is my ex for a damn good reason!

So the less like an ex she is, the better!

I tend to compare blokes with my exes, but...

yes. It's quite normal. Well, I hope it is anyway. I get it quite a lot. I keep double taking in the street

I do it. Not deliberately, but every now and then I catch myself thinking "X had nicer..., or Y was more forgiving of this stuff"

I suppose my ex has been my ex too long for me to remember.

My ex husband was tall and slender - swopped him for a younger model of a smaller stockier build.

I tend to go for the opposite. Like when I had to have my 18 year old black and white cat put to sleep My next cats were a grey tabby and a pure white one.

I suppose it also does'nt help when two people are split by circumstances rather than any other factor..

So, you can't hate them, and there is no less feeling!

I never had a chance to fall in love with her, but the feelings are still very much there. The only way i can see to move on is to find someone else.

Yo bro!

Let's go and find us a couple of ho's.

Hopefully the next one I find won't play the guitar...
