Just tidying up the wheels on my 997.1 turbo and the nuts and centre caps are in a pretty poor state

Does anyone know of any other options for the wheel caps other than from Porsche?

I've a receipt in the service history from 2 years ago for £160 for new caps. So I'm not keen on replacing again in a couple of years at that price!

Porscheshop.co.uk

I bought the coloured Porsche crest centre caps for my 997T - from memory £90 for all four.

They look great and I'm very pleased.

Treat your self to Porsche crested value caps as well for the whole 'experience'

Cheers,

Man those bolts, clean them with a metal brush, place them in a piece of cardboard and spray them
a couple of times with a rattle can, then it looks so much better.
Small job great result.

Would you mind posting a pic? I wasn't sure how silver ones would look rather than the chrome finish ones that are on now.

Haha, I thought the bolts would attract comments!

I've already done as suggested above. Been rust treated and zinc primer'd. Just got to spray them silver tomorrow.

Believe it or not, they're the same age as the caps. Hence the reason for not just buying a new set of bolts and caps from Porsche. Shocking condition for a couple of years use. Especially considering the wheels are in perfect nick.

These are very good value and if they are not genuine, then they are very good replicas.

Thanks for the link. Look just like the above.

For £20 I think I'll give them a go. At least the won't corrode after a couple of years.
