small dumb question.
test drove an S2 Sports Tourer last night (first time in an S2) with leather seats.
and the seats are very slidey - is this usual, can they be made less slippy, do I just get used to it?
Thanks.

Either get a harness or have them re trimmed in Alcantara.

Mine are leather and I have never had a problem

I think your going to get used to them pretty quickly, I'm doing quite a bit of Motorway mileage at the moment and they seem fine both on there and when I start to chuck my car around. I haven't really found them slippery at all ?

mine are ok, but not as 'grippy' as alacantara seats Ive tried. Did the seats have the hard wearing grey stuff on the sides? This is ultra grippy and stops me sliding I think - also I fit the seats quite snugly

Mine Are OK even in exciting slippery conditions thats the road not my backside in the chair. I have to say I like the smell of the leather it helps create that overall ambience of sitting in something a bit special. You could alway buy some double sided sticky tape and place on the Calvin Cleins!

Made me laugh!

If the seats have got the grey grippy type material on the sides expect to have holes in ur clothes! They have worn through some of my tops as its like sandpaper on mine!

The have probably put polish on them to make them shine

If you use something like AG leather cream they will probably be okay.
