bit of a girly question but!
need to get some shoes from usa but need to know what their shoes size is for a uk 11 but looking on the web some sites say its a 11.5 but others say its a 12 which is it anyone know???
ta!
Got big plates for a girl haven't you?
I take a UK size 11. My experience of buying in the states is that their size 12 is equal to our 11.
I've bought loads there never had a problem using this a s a rule of thumb (or foot)

dam the majority of the web sites say a 11 = 11.5 us now i really dont know what size to get!
Depends on the shape of your feet.
US sizes are generally shorter and wider than UK ones, hence most people needing to go up a size (or a 1/2 size).
Personally, I have short, wide feet (for my height) and consequently have to buy UK shoes that are too long in order to get the width right.
As a result, I find US shoes a better fit and usually take roughly the same "size" (numerically) as I would in the UK.
Just checked my current footwear (Merrells - but even they vary from style to style) and they're marked as US 10.5, UK 10. They're the right length for me, though, so I'd guess the length is actually nearer to a UK 9.

Just looked at the label in me US sourced Reeboks.
It says
USA 12
UK 11
EUR 45.5
dam just as the last post said 11.5!! anyone wearing salomon shoes today as thats what i'm getting?!!
Get the 12's. You can always get some insoles or wear thicker socks to make them more snug if necessary.
Whereas if you get the 11.5s and they don't fit, you'll have to file your feet down.
