Hi, I am going to be getting all the wheels on my blue VXR8 refurbished, I like the standard silver, but considering going a little darker.

Has anyone done anything with their wheels on a blue VXR8, or even a Monaro to give me some idea of what works well.

IMHO the best ones I've seen on Impulse were Ferret's. They looked OE until you looked closely, when you could see that everything behind the spoke faces faded into much darker paint.

Excuse my bluntness, but wow that is not a good look.
Simply looks like the wheels are dirty.

I have an Impulse blue CV8 and have been wondering the same thing for a while since my wheels could do with a touch up anyway...

This could go either way but here goes...what are people's thoughts on white stock rims? (or have I seen too many bayside blue skylines with white wheels in my youth (more youthier than now anyway)? scratchchin

A friend has white wheels on his 91 Camaro. It looks st and we tell him this frequently. The only time it sort of worked was on the power tour when he had some white vinyl on the windows etc. for the tour, so it kind of complimented the wheels and worked a bit better.

Why not Impreza style gold for full JDM points? Would look pretty cool I think hehe

Got Mine Done in my own concoction 'Smoked Satin' the Company (The Wheel Specialists) had Not done this before

It Works for me cool Just Subtly Darker than Factory but gives more Depth in Colour and Perspective

And Yes, I know it's not Blue getmecoat
