Mate of mine has just bought an e39 M5 and its throwing these faults after being in storage

is there anything to be worried about or is their a quick fix ?

73 air mass signal plausibility
144 02 bank 1 control functure
10 camshaft position sensor outlet bank 1
209 misfire cylinder 5
13 02 sensor 1 before cat
145 02 bank 2 control function

Was the car jump started? Could possibly be a fused circuit?

Duff/dying battery can throw up all sorts of codes. Is the car driving okay? Those codes could be years old and not cleared.

I would fit a fresh battery, clear all the codes, go for a long, gentle drive then check codes again.

You can buy code readers from the internet and these should feature a reset facility. Or pay a garage a few quid to do it for you.
