Imminent arrival of a new Caterham (I'm not really defecting as we still have a 911SC..) and a lack of garage space means I really need to sell my 1990 H reg 944 Turbo. Only had one enquiry so far so must have overpriced it. Full details at:

www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=34243&s=81

I'm dropping the price to £7150 or nearest offer (and promise of a good home!). Anyone interested please contact me on 07831 308202 or email emma@circuitdriver.ndonet.com

Cheers,

Bob Maclaren

Here's a question for Simon (it's multiple choice to make it easy for you)

Are you:

It would be criminal to sacrifice such a nice-looking late 944T as a trackday car.

Anyway, good luck for the sale.

I'd be interested to know which quote the people you ring would give you for this one.

GTS values are fairly solid. My contacts don't really like valuing non UK cars. They tend to suck through their teeth, value it and subtract a safety margin. 8 grand PoorCarDealer?

There's always one small factor that you don't pick up from an advert!!!!!!!

Sorry, a grand for spares.

Well, why would you take apart a car that seems to be running well ?

That's not what I meant. I'd base the value on a worst case scenario.
