Prescott - La Vie en Bleu
Discussion
All, On the 23rd May the TVR CC have a round of their sprint championship at Prescott and its the Vie en Bleu weekend there also. Advance tickets before the 8th May are £10 and if you are a TVR CC member then there is club parking in the Orchard, which is the field right next to the start line. I've already booked my ticket for the day as have a dozen or so other TVR members. Any other Wedgers thinking of attending?
Details below. Cheers.
La Vie En Bleu takes place at the Prescott Hill Climb in Gotherington on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May.
The TVRCC Speed Championship compete on the Saturday which also features Classic English Marques while Sunday features almost exclusively French Marques.
TWO THINGS OF NOTE:
1 On line tickets are available at a VERY good rate - for a short time only. Details here
http://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/la_vie_en_bleu.a...
2 When booking your tickets
add a note to the Delivery Instruction page when buying, there's a tick box for Invited Car Clubs & just state which Car Club.

Hi Dom, I was aiming to be there around 9.30 and stay for the day. As you say, you can always try to blag your way in but not sure how keen the orchard gate lads will be. Just say that you'd like to park with the TVR-CC lot. Cheers.Forgot this was happening this coming weekend.. I may just turn up if ok.. what time you there from / till...

A superb day at Prescott today. The weather was glorious, loads of fabulous cars to drool over and even managed to get my hands dirty and help out with one of the competing Griffiths with a broken accelerator cable. Amazingly one of the fastest competing TVR's was a white "350i" however it was running a 4.8l V8. Not sure what suspension it had but boy it certainly went around the corners rather differently to my standard Wedge.
Certainly the TVR's were the most entertaining on the hill pushing the cars to the absolute limits. There were a couple of big "offs" but fortunately no serious damage from what I could see.
A good turn out of Wedges. As well as the competing 350i and myself there was Ade, Dom and also a white Wedge from the TVR car club Oxford region but didn't get the owners name.

Confused - what's been removed? Either way I'm there at 9.30 tomorrow as is Tim. I think there's a good 30 plus TVR's there now. Cheers.
I posted in wrong Thread -and I know some get ridiculously upset if one does that on "their" forum .... so, instead, I started another separate [general] thread for La Vie..http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
