Does anyone have a contact for where I might get the original build sheet for my wedge?
I would love to know if the engine and interior are original or hhave been modded later.
I have e-mailed the archivist at the TVRCC but not a word back from him

I had a copy of the build sheeting showing my old 420SE, got it from Doug at David Gerald as they have all the old build docs

Bad news though....Doug has now retired / left DG and the TVR company has bought all the old stock, licence agreements, documents etc etc for everything they had

So yes the info is about but will not be easy now to extract

What year was it as the copy I had showed about 10 cars, if its around July 1986 your car maybe on my sheet?

1987 needed unfortunately, I might try emailing David Gerald (the company) anyway and see if they can help

These records should be in the public domain by now. What the frog are TVR going to do with them?

Well it seems that anything TVR related is being clamped down on by Mr Edgar...Wouldn't surprise me if this is as well...I hope not as nobody seems to care about the Wedge other than us, After all its people like us who are keeping them alive...

Someone in the classic section on the TVRCC is asking the same question.......here is a quote from David Gerald = "We recently sold the parts business and records to TVR, The build records have been passed over to Paul Thompson of TVR heritage. Please note that it will take several weeks before it is possible to obtain information due to TVR moving all the information into an obtainable process."

I too would be interested in the build spec for mine, didn't know these were actually available- or not now as the case may be. If you get anywhere, keep us posted.

Send an email to the club sec. His name is Mervan something, can't remember off the top of my head. When I imported my 350i to the states he supplied me with all the build data for my car. Evan the name of the dealership that sold it the first time.
Secretary@tvrcc.co.uk is the address I think.

Hey Steve....yes having withdrawal symptoms big time......frankly I wasn't expecting to sell that fast :-(

But being grown up as moving house.....never say never so will be in another tvr one day

The owner I don't think is on here..... He did say he was a member of a classic car club in rugby..... ie local meets vs us on online forums, old school chap me thinks

Still going to come along to the fest, few beers and some banter will be welcome

I thought a lot of the paperwork got destroyed in a fire in the early wedge era.

Mervyn at the TVRCC answered my email within a couple of hours, unfortunately not much info was held, just a list of previous TVRCC members who have owned the car, the colour (caribbean blue originally) and that it had a magnolia interior and PAS
