Will a Sky box work in someone else's home?

One of our friends has ordered the Mayweather Pacquiao fight on Sky box office. Is it possible for him to bring his Sky box to someone else's house, connect the satellite connection and watch it?

Yep - ought to work fine. He'll have to bring the box though rather than just the viewing card.

Nice, thanks for the replies. Yep he will be bringing the box and viewing card (I don't have a Sky box anyway).

Just avoid connecting it to the internet or WiFi, this could flag up it's location with Sky. Hope you manage to stay awake!

Has he got sky go as a back up? Laptop to TV just incase the box move doesn't work.
