No oil light on engine start and 0psi oil pressure

Evening chaps,

After a couple of days with the plenum off for some engine bay tidying and the dash off for some attention on the vinyl at the base of the windscreen i have reassembled it all today to find i have no oil pressure reading on the gauge and no oil pressure warning light coming on on the speedo when the ignition is switched on. All the other gauges are working as usual.

Can anybody give me any pointers on how to test the gauge any anything else those symptoms suggest? I have no particular reason to think that it has lost all oil pressure overnight whilst stationary!

Loose wire/bulb out at the back of the gauge?

They are all correctly connected...

Pull off the wire to the oil pressure switch and touch it to earth with ignition on, bulb should light if all is well.

Similar to oor pressure sender.

Maybe a feed that powers both is disconnected?
