From the 'Group Trackday 2015' thread;

'The second one is on Friday the 5th of June. It is a Javelin day at Donington Park on the National circuit. There is a 98dB driveby noise test to comply with. Garages are available.

List price £219.00

Advantages - Lots of run off and a wide circuit. Great elevation changes. Fast. Pretty central.

Disadvantages - A Friday meeting so travel on a Thursday.

Accomodation near to each is plentiful. Happy to hear suggestions but generally I stay at a local Premier Inn on the off chance of meeting Lenny Henry.'

Current Attendees;

mk1fan - S3C aka Samy
QBee - underpowered Chimaera
PGNCerbera - Cerbera 4.2
T4NGO - Sag

This is the day event.

If we can make a block booking then we get free garages (I assume one garage per three cars). The block booking requirement means that one person needs to book and pay. I am happy to do this but will require monies up front from all before making it.

It would be great to all be in TVRs but all are welcome - Clio or Elise or 135i wink - all are welcome. You never know if a few more sign up we may get some money off the £219 too.

If you're up for this then quote the attendees list and add your name.

Timescales - I want to get this booked before the 10th of May. That means money needs to be with me before then.

Can the three existing attendees email me please - either PM through here or add aol.com to my screen name. Put Donington Trackday in the subject. Thanks.

There's no static test, just the drive by. Snetterton was also 98dB on drive by.

Just freed up the date - but 98dB is probably too risky for me.....

That is the driveby reading not static test. Tamy was 101 on static, no issues with driveby at Snetterton (same 98dB driveby). The red sierra was noticeably much louder but didn't have any issues with driveby.

Mines 112 - 118dB static, dependent on the meter.
