Have had flights and accommodation booked for 6 months but for some reason not bought tickets.

Friends only want GA tickets. Firstly, where's the best place to buy from? Have been looking at bookf1.com which seems to allow them to be printed, anyone know if they are actual tickets or have to be exchanged at the circuit on the day?
Is that the best way to buy from in advance?

Also, given only GA tickets, where's best to sit on Saturday & Sunday. Saturday probably want to see cars at their best whereas Sunday more overtaking and action.

Will Sunday be like GA at Silverstone, get in as early as possible?

Thanks

Alistair

I think that you will find GA tickets will be adequate, unless you turn up late. Best move is to get there early and find a good spot. I sat under a tree near Turn 10, which was fine. For spectators, it's a great circuit and there should be plenty of space to wander around on the Saturday.

Thanks for the help so far.

Have now bought tickets from the official circuit website and printed off.

Any tips on getting from central Barcelona where we are staying, to the circuit? Will be doing it on Saturday and Sunday.

Try Google Maps, it will provide you with a number of options if you poke on the train icon.

We've been told to use taxis by some mates who went last year.
With 4 of us going this year, it makes sense to spend 30 mins in a taxi as opposed to 90 mins on a train (underground and then local train).
Cost wise will be the same at less then 10 euros each for train or 40 euros for the taxi split between 4.

We'll try it out on Friday in readiness for Sat and Sun
