Well you can't keep a good man and wedge enthusiast down.......as you know I needed to sell the 420SE for the house purchase, which went a lot quicker than I had thought really

But with a few coffer's down the back of the sofa I've picked up this beauty for a steal to at least keep me in a wedge during the summer.....so I will be wedge'd up at the wedge fest woo woo

Bought the old girl totally sight unseen, but for the price I paid I was willing the take the risk......pick her up on sunday so will report back then.......she aint perfect and I hate the wheels alot but she is a bit of fun for very very little wedge lol

In the interim, some details and pics chaps

Details from the seller: -

5 SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX, THIS TVR BOASTS AVO ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION FITTED 2000 MILES AGO

WILLWOOD 4 POT VENTILATED DISC BRAKES & KEVLAR BRAKE PADS

JAGUAR IRS

TSW IMOLA ALLOY WHEELS & 5 YOKOHAMA A520 TYRES WITH PLENTY OF TREAD

ENGINE OIL JUST CHANGED WITH FILTERS, DIFF AND GEARBOX OIL CHANGED TOO

THE NOT SO GOOD POINTS ARE SCRATCHED BOOT LID AND CRACK IN CENTRE OF REAR SPOILER, (SEE PICTURE) WHICH IS REPAIRABLE WITH FILLER AND PAINT. FUEL GAUGE FLICKS AROUND AT THE MOMENT, I WILL TRY TO SORT IT BEFORE END OF AUCTION

I HAVE A FULL SERVICE HISTORY IN A LEATHER BOUND FOLDER WITH RECEIPTS FROM WAY BACK. ALL IN ALL A GREAT CLASSIC SUPERCAR, WITH HUGE POTENTIAL

Hold the phones I may just have a freaking melt down

The car was on ebay most of you are aware......I didn't win the auction but in true ebay style the winner didn't call or anything so the chap offered me 2nd option......as I had the 2nd highest bid

Now after I've just arranged my train ticket, insurance and tax he's just informed me the winner has called him and is collecting right away

So I'm well out of pocket and fuming GRRRRRRRRRRR $£^%^£% ^$^%$^ %£%£%%£

Glen

Glad to hear things have worked out and esp. that you're not leaving the wedge fold. smile

Those wheels really do have to go though! Don't forget the PCD is the same as many VW/Audi/Merc so choice is wider than you might think.

I don't like white cars and the wheels aren't my favourite but for putting a smile on your face and a bit of V8 noise and drama it will definitely tick the box. See you at the BBWF unless you fancy Prescott at the end of May or the Shelsley breakfast? Cheers.

Welcome back i didn't think it would be too long having bought some bits off you.
Did you move very far from your previous house as that was nice enough !!.

Not seen the PM mate; i put my work email down for PM's (for some reason) and so depending on when you sent it, it could have gone in spam, if you send again i will look out for it, meanwhile i think i need to change this in my profile to private mail address.
Cheers.

WILLWOOD 4 POT VENTILATED DISC BRAKES & KEVLAR BRAKE PADS

Edited by gmw9666 on Friday 1st May 15:53
Glen, I think your silver broken Wedge had the same? Do you have the details and part numbers for this upgrade? Although I've got a set of 4 pot Princess calipers to refurb I fancy the lighter weight Willwood units. Would be good to know how they perform on your new acquisition. Thanks.
