Good service and price from Audi main agent Birmingham

Just thought I would let others know about the positive experiences I have had at Audi main agent in central Birmingham - for anyone familiar with this site, it's a service only facility for Audi run by Listers group (Audi car sales and their other service site is in Shirley)

Cambelt change and water pump for £799 on the Audi S8 - this was as or more competitive than I could find from any independent. No apparent teething issues have surfaced afterwards either - which on a job like this where so much has to be stripped down, I think is very impressive. Furthermore, the service manager there seems genuinely very knowledgeable on the cars, and inspires confidence.

Interesting, never heard of this, and I work in central bham so may be useful. Where is it?

edit: it must be this http://listers.co.uk/Audi/WateryLane . Remember it now, I always thought this was just one of their repair centres, like they've got in Coventry too (Cheylesmore, near the VW dealer), I didn't realise they did servicing too. Very useful to know, may even go in next week! Thanks for the heads up

That price is the standard fixed price for the job according to the Audi website, so should be available from all main dealers.

I've just noticed that all the fixed price jobs seem to have crept up in price over the last few days...

Yes, these are the fixed prices - the cambelt and waterpump are still the same though

don't know about other services, I haven't been watching them.

It's been a few years since I went to a main agent, and was just impressed with them (yes, it is the Watery lane one) - especially the knowledge of the cars. The service manager seems very experienced. So anything technical, he's the man you want.
