Steam, verification

Created a Steam account, all.

Got the we need to verify your email address thing, did that logged in, went to buy game, clicked buy once it's in the cart,.get the email verification again.

So OK verify again, and when I get back to the purchase screen it just keeps looping me round the email verification thing.

Must be me being a numpty but can see lots of people having issues with this.

So what's the deal?

Haven't had this issue but maybe try:

Steam (top left) -> Settings > Change contact email address

and change the email address to a different email address you own and verify that one.

If this works you could always change it back to the original email address later.
