Hi all
Got the 350 up on the ramps to investigate the exhaust - it came up as an advisory on the MOT and it looks pretty fubar.
The 1st photo is of the offside downpipe just before the exhaust box the 2nd is of the exit pipe/main box joint. The whole system looks original and on it's last legs
The problem is that my pocket won't run to a complete new stainless system at the moment so I'm on the scrounge. I missed out on the system glen had from his breaking of the silver car (Hallsie got it I think -swine
)
So does anyone have a reasonable condition exhaust that they'd be prepared to part with for beer tokens ?
Did think of phoning some of the well known TVR breakers but I'm not sure id get anything in much better condition tbh.
The down pipe could be repaired as a short term fix but will need replacing sooner rather than later - the box is beyond saving
