What UK events/series are there where it would be possible to do that?

Many thanks

Most sprints and hillclimbs would have a class that a 991 GT3 could compete under as long as it is road legal (taxed and MOTd). I've not sprinted my GT3 yet (and it is not a 991) but have run other cars and there is often a GT3 or RS competing too.

I only saw you twice.
Once when you were spinning on the grass and the next time when you were spinning out of turn 1 biggrin

Sounds like a winner to me the 991 GT3 as if RAV1 did an easy 2.15 at Silverstone then it will do very well , as faster than an early 997 Cup on slicks .....
Sure someone will

Many to choose from, and yes, your GT 3 will be a competitive car to compete in. Here are the 2 main championships in the UK, although there are many other events, from National to club. Sprints as well if you have a good search around.
I was at the National round at Prescott last weekend in my 996t, there was a very nice chap there in a 997t who campaigned a 996 GT3 successfully, IMO, there’s not enough of them at these events, we need to show the EVO and Scooby doo boys who’s boss wink

I will be at Goodwood next Saturday, there happens to be a GT3 in my class, and a lairy GTR so should be fun smile

Most championships will let you enter as few events as you want. You will need to register as a contender though otherwise you are unlikely to get an entry.

Great!! Thanks Trev.

Next question is insurance while competing?

Is that possible?

It can be reasonably inexpensive depending on who you go to. I have a family fleet policy with Pace Ward and they usually charge around £95 per event with a ten percent excess of the vehicle's value. I think it would probably be more costly for a 991 GT3 given the value, but it may be worth a call anyway.

I've never ever spun my RS.. only once ever spun my CS at the Ring Bruchen exit 2009 on a TF after a heavy night in a local club... are you thinking of somebody else?

why the sudden interest in hill climbs/sprinting and a move away from trackdays.... your engine ok??
