Fuel pressure regulator

Anyone know where it is (or should be!) on a 98 Chim?

I had a look in the Bible and it assumes you know what you are looking for. Which I dont, so here are the clues I got from it.

The regulator has 3 fuel hoses running into and there is a take off point on the fuel rail to the regulator.

Hope that gives enough clues?

The fuel pressure regulator is fitted to the end of the fuel rail. The fuel rail runs round the base of the plenum chamber. The pressure is at the back of the plenum on the driver's side. It is a push fit into the end of the fuel rail and secured with two screws. The fuel return hose comes out of the side of the regulator, and there is a vacuum line from the plenum connected into the end. You can see the regulator without dismantling anything, but there are plenty of other things in the way so it may not be obvious. But if you look where the fuel hose joins the end of the metal fuel rail on the driver's side you should be able to spot it.

Thanks Steve, i looked in the bible but couldn't find any mention of its position.

Peter, i have found it although it is on the passenger's side of the plenum on my car.
