I wasn't sure if to post this in the computer forum but here goes...
My Sonos has been connected wirelessly for the last couple of years no problem to my iMac.
However recently, when the computer goes to sleep, the controller can't connect and the "network cannot be found" warning comes up.
Touch the computer so it "wakes up" and it works fine - until the computer goes to sleep again.
I've tried adjusting the length of time before the computer sleeps using the energy settings on finder but the problem still occurs.
I haven't touched anything although I can't say the same for the kids, or Wife smile
Ann ideas?
Thanks

On reflection, it is possible the Mac was always awake when ever I used the Sonos, thanks to the kids.
Who knows?

My initial 200gb backup was taking ages when it should have been quicker. A bit of an investigation and it seems that Mac OS is a bit aggressive with the sleep function. I have noticed some programs work with it better than others. Running BIONC screensaver always seems to crash yet scheduled backups happen OK but my main cloud backup will not run unless the computer is awake.
