Your ugly-but-effective track day bodges...
Discussion
After an afternoon spent fiddling about with various bits of exhaust pipe left overs, clamps and a scouring pad no less, it appears I have a rougharse noise reduction solution in my back pocket in case Mr Posite can't manage to deliver dB killer in time ready to take my car out later this week.
And said bodging sparked the idea for a thread - so go on, spill us your best ugly-but-effective track day bodge that has kept you going round and round in circles for the day rather than heading home for an early bath or calling the recovery men.
Never know, it might even spark an idea to keep a fellow track dayer going some time.

Eaton MP62 fitted to my MX5 lunched it's insides early in the day.
I could've just removed the belt and carried on, but the engine breathing through just the bypass valve was painful, (the lobes could no longer freewheel), there was no power above 4k. (blower is fitted onto a custom intake manifold rather than the usual spot of above the exhaust, so bypassing the blower is more complicated than ususal on an MX5).
I pulled the nose off & extracted the rotors, then refitted the nose section.
The car idled a bit high as i didn't get a perfect seal/vacuum leak, but the car drove much more like a stock N/A car rather than a non turbo diesel with no torque.
