Anyone up for a GP circuit track day 30th May

Just found out yesterday that the Ring GP circuit will be open the whole day on Saturday 30th May. If you are not familiar it is similar in principle to the Nordschleife TF days but generally speaking the driving standards are much higher. It is €27 per 15min session. I'll be taking my RS for a little shakedown and my mate will be along in his 964RS. Be good to meet up if anyone else is making the trip over 
I was in my 996 last week for an evening session and the driving standards were fine. So long as you drive within your limits and have respect for others you wont have any issues. Lots of run-off at the GP circuit, wide track, gravel traps, all bends perfectly sighted... I personally wouldn't be overly concerned for insurance. The Nordschleife is a nightmare and I agree a bit of a risk. The GP circuit is much safer. As the circuit is open for the whole day you can choose a quiet time to go out to lower the risk even further. It is also great value. €100 for 4x 15m sessions or €27 per 15min if you wish. A full track day is normally around €800.

I have only found atdo track day cover.
Porsche insurance cover me for two tracks days per year. The excess jumps to £2k (from memory) but all I have to do is contact them prior to the day to advise them. I have only found atdo track day cover.

Regardless of how safe the track appears to be with lots of run off etc its still takes big kahunas to run uninsured.
I'll be running in my 7.1RS and my mate in his 964RS. These cars are not exactly cheap anymore; insurance is the last of our concerns. The aim is not to contact Roy Castle after the session; a bit of fun with like minded car nuts is the order of the day.
