Morning all,

I bought this SKX399K off Fleabay two weeks ago and it's just been delivered on Saturday. When I first opened the box, the watch initially looked good (as it did in the photos of the ad too!). However, upon closer inspection the dials appear to have what I can only presume is moisture surrounding them. Almost as if someone has re-applied them using their fingers.

I've tried to capture it in the photo below. It's an IPhone photo, so it's not the best of quality.

My question is, do I e-mail the seller asking for a refund? Or do I send it to someone to be cleaned (if at all possible)? I'd rather the latter, because as you know, these can be quite hard to get hold of.

Just to add, the seller claims that the watch has recently had a service and it does seem to be running quite well. I've timed it at +8 seconds a day.

Thanks in advance smile.

It looks like it's been relumed to me, I'd be wondering if superglue was involved as that can creep like that.

That's what I've been thinking too. I've noticed a fair bit of dust within as well, so I think this one may well end up being returned!

Where did it come from the Philippines or India usually equals a guaranteed frankenwatch.

Oddly enough, Denmark!

It was described as "recently serviced" and "used, but in good condition".

More fool me, I guess. Shame really, as I've been looking for one of these for a while now.
