Here are a few pictures of the Bertini GT25 with a factory Z3 hardtop attached
(the rear of the hardtop is not clamped fully down as it was just rested on for the recent Kit Car show)

Stoneleigh Kit car show was awesome and i cant wait to show my Bertini GT25s there next year!
There are a few more pictures from the show on the website and facebook page.

Looks great! Does it have a fabric roof if hardtop is off?

yes, its just the standard Z3 roof, windows, doors and sills.

basically a glorified body-kit for a Z3.

Thank you - nicely different to look at, slightly Z8 looking rear. Enjoy smile

Look forward to seeing one in the flesh; I'm still not totally convinced by the front end, but the rear and rear 3/4 view is superb.

With the Bertini and that 250SWB, the Z3 seems to be a great choice for retro style.

Anyone think round rear lights would have been more in keeping with the round lights at the front?

or rearrange these

or maybe these

Agree, rear end view is good and I like the rear lights. Front end is awkward and bloated. Side on it looks like someone fed the front steroids whilst giving the rear slimming pills.

I prefer the front to the rear. Putting round lights on the back might run the risk of it looking a bit too much like a Ginetta G20 (for good or ill).

With donor Z3s being cheap these days it certainly would make a nice cheap head-turner and definitely much better looking than 90% of other kit cars.

thanks for the comments

it does attract a lot of attention.
its a very simple build. the panels just bolt-on.

the Z3 is a surprisingly good motor, especially with the 2.8 and 3.0 engines.

I love the story behind it, so good on you for doing it.

I think there are also issues with the proporition of it, but each individual element looks good.

I'm not convinced. (Rear looks pretty good though).
