Nicole Kidman is afraid of butterflies. The actress developed the phobia when she was a child in Australia and despite endless attempts to shake off the problem, she still can’t stand the insects reports IMDb.com.

She said: “Sometimes when I would come home from school the biggest butterfly or moth you’d ever seen would be just sitting on our front gate. I would climb over the fence; crawl around to the side of the house - anything to avoid having to go through the front gate.

Wasps. I hate them. If I see one I have to kill it. If I don't kill it I get the hell out of it's way as it'll want to kill me.

I worked with someone scared shitless of bees, even to the point of having an eppy, because i placed a (quite) dead one beside him un-noticed, for effect

I always considered the Bee a friendly co-inhabitant of earth, along with ladybirds, how wrong can you be!

The vastness of the Ocean intimidates me. I recon it's because I feel so exposed.

Fat Birds, I made the drunken mistake of getting it on with a good mate, who turned out to be the most matronly dominatrix possible. The experience left me mentally scarred and I realised that I was still a little boy. A total humbling experience. I will never get that drunk ever again, or touch a fat bird for that matter.

The little bastards bite To be fair they don't really hurt. They also secrete nasty yellow stuff that is mildly caustic and allegedly tastes foul.

luckily there's a wasp that lays its eggs indide them and allows the larvae to burst out of the ladybird alien style; so thats alright then

What am I afraid of? I don't like earwigs the pointy arsed little gits!
I also have a morbid fear of twisting my ankle having dislocated my left ankle joint a few years ago.

Earwigs can be nasty when you are sleeping in your tent naked.
