Experienced TVR owner looking
Discussion
Hi All,
I have previously owned the Tuscan S and now looking for a good Cerbera. Just started my quest to find the right car which will be a long term keeper. Having been through the experience of trying to find a good car before (many miles and lots of frustration) keen to see if anyone can point me in the right direction. Obviously purchase is completely my risk and I am not in a rush, would be nice to have some garage decoration though ( looking a little empty at the moment). Happy to get stuck In and do work myself and bodywork etc does not scare me. Solid well maintained engine and chassis is most important to me.
I am based near Ascot, all help appreciated and willing to travel.
Thanks for everyone's help in advance.

What year
4.2 or 4.5
Colour
Just asking as I am selling mine and want her to go to a good home had her 15 years mechanically very good, just not using her as I have a Griff and a T350
15 years ! wow that is the sort of history folder I would be interested in. I would prefer a 4.5 but a 4.2 would do, having owned TVR before it is more about the feel of the car for me, I am not too fussy about colour just not green and it has to be something the wife will be seen in... Money wise I do not really have a fixed budget in mind, it would depend on car and inspection. I am confident I can get a good one for under 20 and perhaps even low teens. I am a cash buyer and it is going to a good home with warm Garage that appreciates the care/use these cars need to maintain them.
By the looks and sounds of it a very sorted car. Nice colour as well! many of the upgrades I would normally choose and may do myself in the future depending on the originality and mileage of the vehicle I find. I know you have a selection but it still must be difficult to walk past :-) , I hope you find her a good home.

Shame, as it has got a 2002 engine as it blew up and recent new head gaskets, new clutch slave and master cylinder , discs, silicon hoses, stainless steel water pipes, starter motor, nitrons all round,New Ali Rad, photo of folder with every invoice MOT etc, hope you find a good one

Isn't it light blueThanks for all the help with the this. Karl your car looks awesome and would be perfect, the attention to detail and research to make sure it is right I really commend. This time round though I really want a V8 engine, even though I really enjoyed the speed six engine and had no problems in 3 years of ownership and many miles.
Goodcall, car sounds great but wrong colour, green is the only colour i can not buy. Family tradition after we lost someone close in an accident. Would the price or condition warrant a re-spray ?
Does anyone know this car ?
It's viewable at: http://winterslowcarriagecompany.co.uk/tvr-cerbera...

I don't know the owner but there was only 1 tvr service centre in Belgium.
Which was MF Cars and Marc Minne was very capable and knew tvr through and through.
He used to have a race cerbera which was faster then the factory race cars...
No need to worry about service history with belgian cars, he was very good.
Now passion for engineering took over and is said to be at least as good.
