Whats my next upgrade?

I'm still skint... but i always like to have something in mind. Focusses me when i work... a new toy to look forward to.

Currently got:

D70
18-70mm kit lens
1gb CF card
256mb CF card
Tripod
Carry bag
Spare battery

Whats the next 'must-have' on the list? I think its between more CF cards, flash or another lens.

Flash (aaa-ahhh)

Decent flash makes a huge difference to indoor shots compared to the inbuilt flash.

Another lense with a few more mm I'd say. What level of debt were you thinking of?

Lens....NO CONTEST! It's a shame you got the wrong camera or I would have suggested the 100-400IS L, but now you'll have to make-do with something inferior.

I think its down to Flash or a 100-400mm lens... but flash is ££ and lens is ££££... so might get the flash whilst saving up for the lens.

You might consider the Sigma 80-400 OS (if it's out for the Nikon mount yet).

Depends what stuff you shoot too. A 200-400 lens won't help you taking shots in the dark, but a flash isn't much use for a closeup of Kylie's @rse from half a mile away.
