S Club Heaven 2005 The Venue

I realise that we have not agreed the venue yet but I have taken it upon myself to check cost and availability for Gayden in June or July on a Saturday.

I have taken this action because if it is too expensive or not available, there is no point in takng this venue any further, I will report with answers.

I should say that looking at the events booked so far on the website, that it does look ok for availability.

One other question, do we let the TVRCC know what we are up to?

Any venue that will charge us, in my opinion, is non starter as it will certainly reduce numbers.

Well if thats the case, Silverstone it is.
It's not my call, I'm reacting to the thoughts so far and if they want a free venue, so be it.

Perhaps somebody should tap them up first though to see if they are up for it.

Re: Cost, Quite agree - If we are to go for record breaking numbers. Therefore, would Sunday not be better of the two days? Just a thought - Putting it to the 'floor.'
Another suggestion - we could always make it a Saturday at Gaydon with a visit to the musum. THEN a few pints and a stay over before making Sunday the DAY for all of us to meet at Silverstone to top last years figures. That way no charge and a weekend for those who want it followed by the REAL meet for ALL who can make it.
