Anyone ever tried these? They do them for 996/997. They are a ceramic compound exceeding ECE R90 homologation made by Honeywell. They offer great braking performance but the main reason I want to try them is they produce almost zero brake dust. They also claim much lower noise and heat and last much longer. Disc life is also extended... All seems a bit too good to be true and to top it off they are also very reasonable priced.

Following part numbers refer:
Front axle: 573043JC
Rear axle: 573229JC

Before I pull the trigger any feedback would be much appreciated wink

How much are they? I'll be after some pads for my 996 soon.

Great, thanks, those are listed as fitting the front of mine. Am tempted to try them out on the standard Porsche disks.

Looking at it again, is different part numbers, so although they fit they're probably not the fancy ceramic ones. A quick Gogole didn't turn up any UK suppliers for those numbers given.

Sorry for not responding earlier, for some reason I haven't been able to log into PH since they changed it recently. I ordered the Ceramaic pads front and rear. Rears are fine but the fronts are totally wrong. I have since ordered and fitted EBC yellow stuff pads for the front and changed the fluid to ATE Racing Blue. So far results are fantastic. Incredible the difference to how they were when I tested the car on track a few weeks back.

This picture shows how wrong the fronts were (correct one on left):

Yellow stuff fitted:

And new fluid:

As I was working on the brakes I decided to disable the brake wear sensor system as the light on the dash has been annoying me for about a year now. I just cut off the sensors then soldered the wires together for continuity of the circuit then used heat shrink was used after this stage to protect the wires. Here is a picture of what I mean if you fancy doing this yourself:

I guess you're 50% right smile I fitted the Jurid Ceramic rears but braking performance improvement really comes from the Yellow stuff and fluid. I just want to see how the rears are from a brake dust perspective. I completely cleaned all wheels so I'll see how I get on over time.
