I was passed by a striking convertible today...it had an Italian coach built look on the lines of a Ferrari TdF from the side , and unquestionably an Alfa with a heavily chromed front end. Pic is not very good, apologies...

Looks like a modern 911 of some sort to me.

No clue on the old car, it's very pretty though.

I was in my old 997RS, eight years old and still fun. I am leaning to agree in the 2600 spider. Quite a big car and the front end was unquestionably
an Alfa....

:looked up the Affa 2600...which was the correct spot....Thanks! The trim is not identical but looks very close.

Hmm actually I think its an Alfa 2000, those side vents on the front wings are the give away

PH is always an amazing resource for this kind of question... I was bothered by the brightwork, but this was very well spotted...Alfa 2000 it is!...thanks
