Holiday pay less than normal pay

Good morning, just after some advise please. Long story cut short, I work 9am-5:30pm mon to fri and am paid minimum wage so £53 a day. Annual leave and bank holidays are paid at a rate less than this though, is this normal/allowed?

Depending on the exact calculations, it's probably illegal.

Do you get 8 bank holidays a year plus 4 weeks' holiday off?

Hi, yes I do get 28 days annual leave which includes bank holidays.

No not had a single day off sick in the year or so while working for this company.

Then your holiday pay should be equal to your working week.

Ask then to show you the calculations for your holiday periods taken.
