Donnington historic festival

I went to that, but only on the Sunday. Here's a few photographs, I have loads more but they're very similar so I haven't got around to editing more than this.

Thank you , if anyone has any of the TR7V8 in particular, it was previously owned by a friend and was sold off when he went into hospital a few years ago, it's been fully restored and it was there, I would love to show him some photos if possible.

There's a Donnington not too far from Goodwood in Sussex. The Black Horse used to be my local. Imagine my amusement (and some pity) for the heavy metal fan who came into the bar many years back and enquired as to where the rock festival might be as he'd hitched down from Middlesborough.

We had to tell him that he'd overshot by about 200 miles.

Oh, I can't help on that - I took virtually none of the car club displays this year. Too wet in the morning to be worth bothering unfortunately.

I went but a bit disappointed TBH. I couldn't find a vantage point to watch a good chunk of the circuit. Ended up in the stand, so just saw (and heard) stuff in a straight line.

On the outside banking at the top of craner curves gives you epic visibility from Redgate through to the turn into Mcleans, may need binoculars and a clear day for that bit though and then easy access to the paddock for lunchtime walk about.

There's a "Donnington" near Market Drayton as well.

That said, I was sure I'd seen this on the way in the other week, and Google shows me it's been there since 2011. This is on the road up from the village with the airport on your left, just before the track entrance.
