This morning I got the dreaded "Fault cooling system Visit garage" message for the fourth time since my Cayman S was new. It's done 7000 miles in 12 months and has previously been back to the dealer to have this "fixed" three times.

A Cayman courtesy car I got while it was being fixed once had the same fault. Is this a common thing?

Last time it was in I got a story about a vacuum pipe being pulled of a T piece as the engine moved on its mounts, something to do with the exhaust flaps for the PSE.

Just what you need at ten to 8 in the morning.

I assume the car is not drive-able?

Clearly this is a load of pony!! I would explain to them that this is the second time it has happened to your car and that you also experienced the same issue in the courtesy car they loaned you. It therefore appears to be a relatively common problem and that you want it resolved once and for all this time.
