I'm massively disappointed that I didn't make TDPH Stage 3, I just couldn't get the transport organised (In truth, after my dismal London-to-Redhill puncture fest I was also fairly nervous of being a drag on the rest of the guys anyway) . However, I decided to 'be there in spirit' by have a crack at a hundred mile route starting from home, wasn't at all confident of making the whole distance, but chugged around slowly in a probably not terribly impressive 7 hours 40 mins! It ended up as 99.80 miles on the Garmin with 6,017 ft elevation gain, the iphone registered 100.60 miles so hopefully between the two devices I just cracked it!
I was absolutely chinstrapped by the end of it, but what a buzz too! Now just need to get a bit quicker....

And hey, not a single puncture!

Yup, well done! My Strava for the stage 3 route shows 105 miles, 7hr 10min moving time, but only 4,114ft of climbing, so if anything I think you might have had the tougher route as far as elevation was concerned. And you didn't have a dozen other cyclists dragging you along in their wheels when you were chinstrapped, I'll bet wink
